I'll admit my bias. My Carlisle-raised father made subs from George's a family tradition by eating there on the day it opened. This restaurant has constantly lived up to our highest expectations. Delightful, friendly staff and servers (who will often bring our takeout orders over to us as we sit and wait), and the food quality is always extremely good. We have tried many dishes there and while we favor subs; nothing is lacking. The only con is that occasionally they will leave one or two ingredients off my sub when I order take-out. In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in the Carlisle area.
