User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI wouldnt say its the best hospital by any means. But I have to say if you have an emergency that isnt life threatening, go to there before you go to Hershey med center. The hershey med center is much bigger, more well known and deals with more trauma. So if you think waiting 5 hours is long at the Good Sam, you'll wait at least 8 hours at Hershey. Just a tip.

I took my wife into the ER....she was having a heart attack. With the quick reaction of the people of the ER, they saved my wifes life. In fact everybody in the GSH Cardiovascular Unit was outstanding, especially the heart surgeons. I don't know of any hospital in world could have done any better. Thank You GSH, may you continue your excellent services.

Daughter: My 2 year old daughter fell and cut her eye. We were in the ER for over 5 hours while she was bleeding before we ever saw a doctor. That hospital is awful.

Sorry that you had that bad experience but I go every single time to the GSH and I never had a problem. They have always seen me and my family members ASAP. The doctors, nurses...etc. are excellent.
I have never had a problem at this GSH, There is always a long wait in any ER.
