We ate here on July 10, 2009 for my boyfriend's birthday. Very disappointing. The special appetizer was huge, but nothing was very good on it. The wings were too spicy, I don't know what happened to the mozzerella sticks and the potato skins tasted like they just came out of the freezer and someone poured Cheez Whiz over them. The dinner was a little better, but I never got my veggies, and it was VERY hard to track down a waitress. The people at the next table waited for their drinks for 20 minutes.
I have never had a meal at Dukes that was not excellent. I CRAVE their crab pretzel, it is huge! Love the summer time hanging out on the deck having drinks. 4th of July is a must to watch the fireworks reflect off the water. My favorite place in the area by far!
here's the deal with Dukes... they'll keep the beer and liquor flowing to your table so freely that you forget about their high prices, poor service and sub-par food.
Great views from the deck. Good place for an after-work party, where the emphasis is on the booze, not the food.
