User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWe went to the diner on Super Bowl Sunday and we were really disappointed. I ordered Grilled Chicken and Strip Steak and I ordered a side order of supposedly home made stuffing. Well the food came out and I could not believe my eyes. The Chicken was grilled very dark and the steak was well done when I ordered in Med Well. So I was a little upset about this then when she sat the Home made stuffing and vegetables in front of me I was very upset because this food looked like they dug it out of the trash. and it tasted like it to. So then my husband and I ordered a piece of Strawberry topped cheese cake. Now that was the best part of my dinner.So we will not return to that diner for lunch and or supper. But we may go there for breaakfast.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGOOD FOOD GREAT SERVICE: It's open 24/7 and the food is excellent and the hospitality is great !! Colonial Park Diner is the ONLY family owned Diner open to cook your food at any time day or night ! I defenitly will & do go back time & time again !!
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starswe won't be returning there again: There are always those local places whose dingy exterior hides a wealth of local color. The Colonial Park diner was NOT one of those places. The dingy exterior hid an equally dingy interior with ashtrays decorating each table. The food was greasy and boring and the waitstaff both looked and acted bored to death. The best part about the place was that the menus were colorful. We actually saw a waitress empty an ashtray into a used coffee mug while cleaning the table.
Needless to say, we won't be returning there again.
