We had lunch at O'Rorke's during our Gettysburg visit in early August 2008. The turkey-ruben was great, and the drinks were reasonable. We liked the place and would stop in again next time we are in town. Salute to fellow New Yorker Colonel Patrick Henry "Patty" O'Rorke, the Eatery's namesake, who was killed-in-action defending Little Round Top, July 2, 1863.
My husband and I ate here three times during our visit. We both had pasta dishes the first night. They don't put enough sauce on the pasta, so just don't mix it up with the noodles because you will not be able to eat it all anyway. Lunch the next day was reasonable. Dinner our last night was a fabulous 12 oz New York steak for $10. The beer is reasonable for eating out $2.50 for Miller Lite and $3 for Guinness is normal (they fill the glasses to the rim).
Ordered a corned beef on rye sandwich in a supposed Irish bar... It was two slabs of cold, fatty beef loaded with lettuce and mayonnaise (which I specifically asked not to have - I asked for mustard). It was terribly disappointing.
I live in Gettysburg - I'll never go there again, and will never recommend it.
