    My favorite all time restaurant. I am a local and look forward to Olivia's as a special treat several times a year. Good food, wine, atmosphere.

    I was hoping for some good mediterranean food, a personal favorite, and was actually quite delighted with what I had. nice atmosphere, good service, and far enough away from the battlefield or the square to ensure it's not overloaded with tourists. I am not a tourist, I am an amateur historian. This place is a gem.

    We were driving through Gettysburg and needed to stop for dinner. Olivia's was a convenient place since it's just off Route 15 at the same exit as the Outlet Mall (just keep going east and it's on the right). The food was great! I had shrimp with feta cheese in a tomato sauce. My wife had a gyro sandwich. The menu has something for everyone - everything from burgers to more sophisticated dishes. The atmosphere is casual so I think it would be OK for kids. We stopped on Tuesday night and so we were able to take advantage of the half-price bottle of wine with dinner. The Chianti was very nice! I'm looking forward to going there again the next time in in the area.
