We had a superb lunch meal here. The food quality was excellent. The service was fair but they were extremely busy so we overlooked it. we had the shipwreck soup of the day which was tasty plus. I am going to try to make something similiar at home. The baked portabella mushroom sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. I used a little of my husband's horseradish spread to make it even better. We will definitely go back and it's a good 30 miles from our home!
Blue Parrot offers the best food in Gettysburg: Easily overlooked, the Blue Parrot Bistro is the premier restaurant in Gettysburg. Their menu is a little pricey (dinner for two will cost $60) but the quality is there. Gettysburg is a tourist town which mostly caters to out-of-towners, but the Blue Parrot is a great place for local dining.
