The only thing I didn't like about Community Banks was that they would charge you when you use another bank's ATM machine. They also claim that you cannot make more than 3 internet transfers (like transferring money from savings to checking account) in one month. They told me it's the law! And if I do it again (I did it two or three times in the last few years), they would cancel my account. HAH, go ahead, I'm sure I find another bank!
When the bank became Susquehanna Banks, I was introduced to even more problems. When it was Community Banks, every time I did a debit or credit transaction, it would show up almost immediately on my account. Now with Susquehanna, at the end of the day, you'll get all of your transactions within the last few minutes of the bank closing. It could be all kinds of transactions that you made all week. They will all show up at one time at the end of the day. This is very bad if you don't keep track of every purchase you make. I'm looking for another bank now after being with this bank all my life since it was the Glen Rock State Bank. It was much better back then, when customer service was top notch. Now they act as if they are doing you a favor with all their changes.
Banking made easy: Things I like about Community Banks in Spring Grove is that the staff remember who you are by name and that they are prompt about returning calls and sincere about wanting to help you all that they can.
