User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis place is a joke. If you like to be around people stuck in the 70's than this is the place for you. Besides the feathered hair and wall bangs, and john deere hats galore, the dj was over 70 years old seriously who goes to a club to here 5 slow songs in a row? Worse than that 5 line dances including the electric slide? There are better music mixes in elevators. The staff was friendly and nice. They seemed to want to go postal on the dj as well.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsNice Experience: I spend a fair amount of time in the York, PA area and I happened to stumble upon this restaurant back in 1999 after a really long day. It was about 10:00PM, I just checked into my hotel room and I was starving. I noticed their big sign as I was driving down Arsenal Street and figured I give it a try. It was a weekday and their kitchen was getting ready to close but they served me anyway. I ordered a filet and it was perfect. Grilled exactly they way I ordered it and a nice helping of side dishes.
Since my first experience at San Carlo's, I almost always stop in when I'm on business in York. First class restaurant and a good value to boot.

Did the name( The Hop) not give it away. And the car on the roof? Don't put the place down if you don't like that kind of music. Just go some where that plays the music you like.
