User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am a former York Native. I have stayed at several different Hotels, Super 8, Red Roof Inn, Smith Motel even the now Days Inn.
To me none can compare to the Holiday Inn, I have not had any problems with staff or guests, an I always request the (Holidome area)the pool area for my rooms,I like the convenience of being able to step out of my room into pool area,(not having to walk down corridors in my bathing suit).you have your choice of 2 pools, indoor and outdoor, plus the added perk of the Hot Tub.And believe me it is NOT that noisy, and most people (us the guests)are out sight seeing during the day.Evening time it is not noisy, and not distractions for sleep. I rate this a VERY NICE and ENJOYABLE place to stay, I refuse to go anywhere else now, We even bring our grandkids to York to visit, and they say are we gonna stay at the HOLIDAY INN again. They love it there,

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNice Place! Great Stay!: I really liked all of the people at the hotel, everyone wore smiles on their faces and said "hello" in passing. It's a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel a little more at home and when you travel a lot (like me) that's a pretty great feature! My room is always kept nice and clean, the front desk attendees are very helpful, there's plenty of space to sit in comfortable chairs in the lobby when I feel like being out of the room, and it's always quiet and peaceful at night. The restaurant has good food and the prices are reasonable! I can't think of anything that's not to like about this place.
