About:Prudhomme's Lost Cajun Kitchen est. 1993.This 1896 AD 3 story brick victorian hotel has been the new location of Prudhomme's Lost Cajun Kitchen for 5 years now. Owners, Dave & Sharon Prudhomme keep the family tradition of authentic, made on premises cuisine thriving. This historic 105yr old hotel, formally,the Rising Sun Hotel, had been a speakeasy during prohibition and a hangout for various gangsters.Currently the hotel is home to long term tennants only. The first floor boasts a beautiful original inlayed floor in the bar, and two dining rooms.Filled with early antiques,artifacts and Louisiana memorabilia this fun & interesting eatery has something for everyone! All food is prepared fresh on the premises, and is cooked to order.
