User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecided to check this place out despite negative reviews. Great dinner. Fabulous service. Lobster and beef cooked perfectly. New chef began working "two months ago". According to waiter, the best food he's seen come out of the kitchen in his 2.5 year tenure. Creme Brulee nothing to write home about. A great alternative to the "family style", "Smörgåsbord"-type and Applebee's restaurants in Lancaster Co. Would recommend and definitely go back if ever in Amish country again. Lots of art to check out as well. Didn't notice any of the lighting issues others complained about.
3 cocktails, shrimp cocktail appetizer , 2 surf & turf entrees and a dessert came to $120-something (not incl tip). We certainly did not feel ripped off.-

The Log Cabin Restaurant is just excellent ... attention to every detail and I can not wait to return. I plan on taking business clients to the Log Cabin. One of the finest restaurants in Lancaster County.
