I signed up about 2 months ago, after moving here and being disgusted with the Lancaster Planet Fitness. Universal is a really nice fitness club. They have everything. Unlike other gyms (ie Bailys), they take care you after you sign up. The club does not just want your money, they are really vested in your personal success and satisfaction. This is a great business model, because people like me rave about it, and it gets them additional business.

Universal fitness has many incentive programs which reward people who show up and stick with their fitness plan. The equipment is vast and well maintained, the staff is friendly, the facility is clean. I don't have kids, but the kids seem to absolutely love the kids zone. They look totally excited on the way in the door.

It is more than a gym. It is like a like fitness community. It is a little more expensive, but with all that is offered, it is a total bargain. You are more likely to show up and work out at a gym you love.

A little more expensive than most gyms around here, but you definitely get your money's worth. I absolutely love Universal, it has everything you need including an excellent weight room, basketball court, swimming pool, spa, cafe, Parisi speed school, numerous aerobic and special classes, personal trainers, and a caring, knowledgeable staff. I would recommend Universal to anyone looking for a high-quality gym with a serious approach to a healthy lifestyle.

Overpriced if I may be so bold... Hey I've been there a few times and even got the sales pitch... I liked his sugar coating, and he was knowledgeable... But his sales pitch and my workout experience did not line up with the hefty price of the gym membership... Maybe if you utilize, the classes and such it can pay for you...

Everything is overpriced if you don't use it! The martial arts benefit alone is way more than the monthly fee.....

Awesome deal if you have kids....everything included...I don't pay 2 grand a year to sit at home...get off the couch, use the swimming pool, karate classes....
