CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERB - My wife and I had takeout, I had the Chicken Francaise, I was displeased with the preparation, I call back and JUDY offered to replace the entree, when I returned, the Head cook offered to remake the entree correctly and apologized for the inconvenience and offered a complimentary dessert. The Cook was pleasant, Judy;s service skills were highly professional, The new Entree was superb in taste, presentation, and flavor, the best Chicken Picate/Francaise I had. As a Catering Manager I sell food all day and offer service for Hotels for 20 yrs. I highly reccomed this diner, and also applaud Judy for such a great experience. The one this that I reccomend is that they train the rest of the kitchen staff to prepare and deliver a consistant product. I love Lancaster and when I return, I will be sure to vistit this diner again.
My only reccomendation is, I originally had a tast for Fresh Fried Chicken and was dissapointed to know that they use frozen chicken in Lancaster which is know for its freshes quality foods, when I return, I hope that they have added freshly fried chicken to the menu. For the way that the Chicken Francaise was prepared, I dont expect to get served pre-frozen chicken in Lancaster. Judy and whatever the chefs name is, thank you for a great experience....and to the cook that made my first bad entree, take time and sit under the Chef so that you can kick your skill up a few notches, we all make mistakes.......
God Bless
I have ate at this establishment quite a few times. I enjoy the food. Breakfasts are pretty good too. Nice fat sasuages lol. An eariler reviewer was saying something about the smoke. I think come Sept 11th once the smoking law goes into effect, It will be much more enjoyable.
My Husband and I visit this diner often, the whole experience is just fabulous.(food, service, atmosphere, and cleanness) We highly recommend this diner. You won't be sorry you went there. We have eaten both breakfast and lunch there, we just love it and it is not close to where we live, it takes us 45 min to get there, but well worth the trip.
