User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe Village is the arm pit of Lancaster City. A true dump. Built in the early 1970's it still retains it disco look and feel along with the aroma of stale cigarette smoke and spilled beer. Lots of retail third key assistant manager trainees from the local malls hang out here.

Friday night is Ghetto night. Plain and simple, and they don't care if they service the trash of the city as long as they are making a buck off of them. It's the only night you get wanded. Saturday night has some good bands, but sadly they never really change it up. It's usually one of 3 bands, Back in Black, Negative Space, or Screaming Daisies. None of which have changed their set list in the past 5 years.
Wednesday night is always packed and isn't ghetto as it's college night. That would be the time to go out of the entire week.
I wish they'd remodel it and make it more modern, or at least get some real bands in there, but who knows what direction it's going.
I recommend only going on Saturday or Wednesday. -

The village is a good place to go if you want to go out with some friends and see local bands. The alcohol is not priced too badly, and the atmosphere is decent.
