The Texas is a long-time local favorite, but as someone new to the area, I've found the wait time for service and food delivery to be long, the atmosphere to be boring and the food just o.k. Visit the Blue Chimney in Mill Hall for better food at better prices and with friendlier service & better ambiance for the 'bad for you' foods that are really good.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA Lock Haven Tradidtion: If you want the best greasy "bad for you" food in the area: Welcome to the Texas. You can't go wrong with a Growler or two and some Texas fries. Their pancakes are great too.

There must be another Blue Chimney in Mill hall; the one you talk about with better food, prices, and service than the Texas certainly doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Blue Chimney I am familiar with.
