User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSIMPLY THE BEST, NOTHING EVEN COMES CLOSE: I'VE BEEN EATING BERRIGANS SUBS FOR OVER 40 YEARS and THAT'S THE TRUTH, I GREW UP IN BLOOMSBURG. I HAVE TRAVELLED THE ENTIRE COUNTRY AND LIKE I SAID NOTHING EVEN COMES CLOSE. I'VE HAD ALL BERRIGANS DIFFERENT SUBS AND I LIKE THEM ALL BUT I DO AGREE WITH THE PERSON RECOMENDING A HAM AND CHEESE COSMO WITH SWEET PEPPERS. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME THOUGH! THE ONLY THING THAT CHANGED IN OVER 40 YEARS IS THE LOCATION, (It's 3 stores west of the origional corner location on the same side of main street in Bloomsburg). YOU WILL GO BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent Subs!: One of the best sub shops we ever ate at! There used to be one close to Mansfield University when we were in college and we ate there all the time. We now occasionally make an hour drive to eat at the one in Bloomsburg to satisfy our craving. Get an italian with oil/vinegar and hot peppers or a cheese steak - YUM! They also have broccoli cheese soup that is to die for!

berrigans use to have good subs, but someone else bought the business and they are not very good anymore. Didn't have a lot of meat on before, but very, very tasty. We tried twice in the past month, and the meat is thinner than it was before, and they don't use that very good oil. The part that is good is the bun, so don't waste your money.
Berrigans used to have very good subs. As I understand, they have sold their business to someone else. Berrigans subs were good and had a lot of flavor. Not a lot of meat, but special oil and very tasty. The meat now is thinner than paper, and there is no flavor. You actually have to look to see if there is any meat or cheese on the bun. I have been letting people know, and would never recommend anyone to buy from here. Wish the other owners were back. That business is doomed. Do Not Buy There. You Will Be Sorry.
