I'm surprised to see so many good reviews as I have traveled the world and have tried many types of eateries and I find Mattucci's to be slightly overrated. Please don't get me wrong, there are good selections and great meals Along side the several disappointments I and others have experienced I still stop by for a bite and beverage once or twice a year. Their pizza is different, good, but different. The Lasagna,,,,,,,,,,,HORRIBLE. A disappointment to this Italian's belly. It is overpriced and service is good but slow. My three star rating is a gift because I live here.

I have been eating at Mattucci's since I was 3, that is 60 years and counting. This 3rd generation eatery is the best the coal region can offer and my 1st stop when I trek 3000 miles to get there. Nick and Grace run the family business in the tradition of Old Nick and Gene, good food, reasonably priced with no preservatives and sauce from scratch.
Mattucci's Willow Cafe is the 1st stop following a Tornado's game and the last stop before going home for the night. Meet me there in November and I will buy you a Yuengling lager.
