The tailor is fabulous. She is always friendly. She gets things done on time and her work is phenominal. I have gone to other tailors that have trouble matching a hem to the original, not this tailor. She is the best I have ever used.
While I wished I had a positive experience with this dry cleaner & tailor franchise located at the intersection of Montvale Ave. & Washington St. in Woburn, there were repeated issues where belts and attachments were lost, buttons were broken, trouble locating items and just general carelessness. Their strength is in a drive through window, fast turnover and high volume. However, When politely trying address issues with the manager/owner (Allan?) he on multiple occassions acts annoyed, will not let you speak, blames the customer and does nothing to remedy the situation. The tailoring wrecked one of my suits was returned on metal hangers. The manager told me the original suit hangers was "probably thrown out". I could go on, but it just all was unacceptable and frustrating. Not to mention the clothing that I need to fix or throw out. I'm all for giving people the benefit of the doubt, but this is not a place I would recommend for people who care about their clothing or need them for the workplace.
Bad service: all it takes is one time for me then im done.. ive had cleaners mess up my clothes before (zoots) but to mess up my clothes and not even offer to take care of it, and be blamed for it, isnt cool. Before i brought my shirts in there they were fine but after i took them out, 2 shirts had been ripped. One was fairly old and one was fairly new. When i went to pick up my clothes i wasnt told about them and had to find out for myself while looking for a clean shirt to wear for some interviews. The owner gave me a long drawn out explanation of what probably happend...the only thing he could offer was make them into short sleeved shirts.....but then i would have to pay for that....After he explained that it was noted into the computer that the shirts had arrived like that, i knew that was bull and i would not be taking anymore clothes there ever. So if you want to risk it, be my guest. At least zoots, the mistake they made, losing some clothes, they paid for them....i think ripping clothes and losing is the same.
