portuguese food along with spanish(spain) food is the most exciting, with the most extensive array of choices in the world.
and if you know the food you do not want to eat here. if you want to see for yourself, when the owner's wife(brasilian, not portuguese) comes and asks how everything is, don't tell her you don't like it or she will make an honest effort to let everyone know there is something wrong with you.
BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE, BAD PEOPLE.

The food is good but a little pricy if you are looking for a classy bar this is it :)

Delicious Food! Fun Location...: Had two meals there so far. On the first occasion, we walked from Sand Island in Bethlehem, along the Lehigh Canal Towpath. In Freemansburg you can walk over a foot bridge to the restauraunt. 6 of us ate in the bar downstairs. (people smoke there, be warned) The space was tight but the place is very clean and the food was excellent. Very good sized portions, in fact one meal came in a cookpot (Shrimp and rice) and could easily have served two or more. Second time three of us ate upstairs in a more refined atmosphere. Though we were the first to arrive and seemed to be the only ones there, it took quite a long time to be served. The food is all cooked fresh, as far as I can tell, and it is all delicious.. lots of seafood choices. Salad was fresh but don't be surprised when they put bottled salad dressings on your table. Didn't care for that idea but otherwise, I'd go back. They have an outdoor dining area in the summer, too.

it is obvious you don't know what portuguese cuisine is all about.
