I would highly recommend this therapist. I struggle with depression and an eating disorder (and have for years), and I've seen numerous [other] therapists. None were helpful for the eating disorder. However, Mr. Joseph is the only one who has made a difference, to the point where I have significantly improved (and reduced) the eating disorder behaviors. There have also been times that I've been in "remission" where I've not used any behaviors and maintained my [goal] weight. He is very understanding and easy to talk with. He provides some very valuable suggestions and feedback. This therapist is the only one I've had who has pushed me and not "accepted" the behaviors and let them continue. For this reason, I know I have not been able to improve in the past to get to the point where I am today. He is firm and sometimes "tough" (as he needs to be), but it's because he knows what he's doing and his goal is on the patient and his/her well-being.
