Roxy Theater - Northampton

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: Place is OK. Yea, its fun and a throwback to the old days. Actually, it is pretty well kept up for an old theater. Three bucks admission. How could you go wrong?

Well the problem is they have a penny pinching crowd that tends to take away from the experience. People bringing in their own treats and drinks; feeling the have to comment on every line of the movie and plot twist.

I'll probably go back but I would have to say it would be better if they'd just raise the price 150% and plow some funds back into the theater. That would help dress it up a bit and keep out the back packers.

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: Love the Roxy! It's such a great family treat to go there. WE try to get there about once a month to see a movie. Our son thinks the place is magic!

My favorite theater!

The Roxy is beautifully restored, and cheap, too. For a very reasonable price you get polite service, wonderful ambiance, and no previews!

The owner is on site each night to make sure things run smoothly, and the staff is very professinal and attentive.
