User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy fiancee and I love it here!!! There's not many IHop's around so we go to this one from Quakertown and the people always seem to be very nice and the food is good..I mean it does get busy there..but again theres not many around, so what do u expect!!!!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsAround the time we went to this IHOP, we were intrigued with the TV advertisements for some special pancake deals. These Madison Avenue specials featured some delicious toppings that piqued our collective culinary interests. So, we trotted off to the Allentown store, were seated & in no time placed our orders for their special concoctions. That's when it became interesting...
After ten minutes, other customers came in the store. A few minutes after they arrived, they were promptly served. their orders looked great, whipped cream and various fruit toppings teasing the folks who ordered them wuth caloric overload. And we sat and waited for our order. We caught our waitress's attention & noted that folks who arrived after us were already being served. In reply we received what, in retrospect, was a canned answer, someting to the effect that they were real busy, were short-staffed, etc., etc., etc.
A couple of more customers arrived, placed their orders and they, too, received their food in no time flat. Once again we noted our concern to our waitress who said she would once again check on our order but that they were moving as quickly as they could. About five minutes later our order arrived. Digging in, we spooned COLD food into our mouths! Rather than explain our chagrin to the waitress, we simply walked out...of corse without paying.
I beleive our order was processed expeditiously, was waiting to be icked up but the waitress was inept. Always check on the status of your order. If folks who arrived after yo are receiving their orders before you, look out...you'll be in for a long wait & cold food.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWill never go back again: Went for breakfast. Waited 45 minutes to be served. Approx 35 people after us were served and leaving when we received our meals. Owner offered to take off the COFFEE. That never happened as the bill was already set by computer. Spoke with the Manager as we left and she never did take off the coffee amount.
