Palace Restaurant & Banquet

Went there a couple times to see bands and it wasn't bad; pretty big place, was crowded, drinks moderatley pricey. Went back one other time when no band was there, minimal atmosphere but same pricey drinks and also the other people or I should say drunks in there were something to be desired.

wings are great, atmosphere minimal, service depends on the waitress [2x's now had lazy waitress] SMOKING stinks even in the "non smoking area" However they do not tell you of the "hidden" charges that make certain barely passable [TINY portions* & minimal quality taste] dishes WAY OVERPRICED do not order Taco salad & the Nachos*..] the palace fries are good............Bartenders are GREAT ...............waitress 1 was complaining about the lack of hours she gets But her service was lousy..the other gave an attitude with every request & had to be asked many times just to get her to remember ..the tall thin waitress was wonderful..........wish I could mention her name but ....she was really nice........Lesson learned: NEVER order Nachos, taco salad,ALWAYS ASK about the portions & price..if it appears too small cancel the order save the $$.........& only order the wings, palace fries....& "safe dishes you know are ok" .........MUST try the wings & fries ...........allow for take out is better.........unless yoiu are lucky enough to get a good waitress [odds so far 66+% to 33% ... 2 out of the 3 waitresses were HORRIBLE, 1 was great]

historical: wonderful old building, lots of history, lots of memories. The one place you HAVE to go in lansford if you want good food. Little bit pricey, but u truely well worth it
