High Knob Inn

I absolutely love this place!! Some friends of mine have a cabin closeby and when I'm in the area I always stop in at the High Knob Inn. I love the sportsman atmosphere and the setting is gorgeous right along the Loyalsock Creek. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing! I love their hot wings! Especially the sweet and tangy I think it’s called. I was there once on a Saturday afternoon in November after a fresh snowfall. As I was sitting there looking out at the creek and the trees covered with snow while the Penn State game was on in the background, I said to myself this is paradise on earth!

High Knob is a great place to stop in, when you are in Sullivan County. The food is good and it is in a nice setting. If you sit in the new part, you can look right at the creek. Last time I was there I saw a deer drinking from it.

When I'm in Sullivan County I always stop at the High Knob Inn. I love the way it's located in a forest setting just off the Loyalsock Creek. The staff is very friendly and the food is great, especially their home style diners. The inside is very sportsmen oriented with deer, turkey, bob cat, bear etc. mounts all over. So next time your in the area stop in, you'll be glad you did.
