Taylor Public Library

I go to tcat here in Taylor, and i usually go to the library to get work done. I think that a library should be quite.... well that is not always what you hear there. Alot of high school kids go there and are on myspace, kids have no respect now days. They are loud and the librarians really don't tell them anything at all. Leave the computers for kids who really need to be on them for research papers, school stuff in general. It really upsets me that when i go to my local library i have to hear disrespectful kids, cursing and adults that i guess are too scared to tell them something. That is why i close myself in the study rooms, that i think is the only good thing the library has to offer me, including the wireless internet. Taylor... WAKE UP SMELL THE COFFEE AND HELP THE KIDS WHO NEED HELP, NOT THE ONES THAT GET HELP, BUT REFUSE TO CHANGE!!!

The little library that could...: The library that we frequent is the Taylor public LIbrary. This library, really, isn't a whole lot bigger than my house, but it's huge on customer service. These ladies really take good care of us. Now has homeschoolers, we check out 50-60 books at a clip, and I'm talkin every week! They help me stay on top of things so I don't build up fines, help reserve any blessed thing that we want, and they are very very kid friendly. In fact we joke that the loudest thing in the library is the Librarian!!
This library is growing, and will be moving into a brand new building at the begining of the year, hopefully with plenty of parking! =) If you are looking for a great neighborhood library, where every librarian knows your name, the selection of kids books is vast, and it's chocked full of great programs, check out the Taylor Public Library. It'll feel like home.
