Having just moved to the area for new start after experiencing a rough patch we were pretty broke when both cars tanked in 3 days time. Since we had a great experience working with a similar company in the previous town we lived in we automatically went to Car Lotta. After being told several prices we would need for a down payment increasing from $250 to $400 to $1000 to $3000 with in a 3 hour visit and running around town on a wild goose chase they ultimately told us they didn’t have any cars on the lot that "fit our needs" we walked out of the building with nothing but a big waste of time and a feeling of intellectual insult We are very thankful that our ride stayed "just in case" because we were positive we were getting the car after digging up the additional $600 to make the $1000 down payment they said we required before changing it yet again.

We went there with the knowledge that we would be paying more for the vehicle and also a higher APR because of the nature of their business but we did not expect to have to endure the turn around wheeling and dealing that this company placed upon us that could have ultimately left my husband and I stranded 25 miles from our home with a small child.
