I just had a fabulous wedding at Fiorelli's with Filet
mignon and lobster. The food, the place and the staff were excellant. If you are not planning your wedding or event there you are missing out on the best event you can possibly have. -

One of the best places, to enjoy food in the Mid_Valley Area. Attended a wedding, as well a private event here. It was just so super, and the staff are all so friendly and professional.

The staff sure is friendly! Especially the female bartender! I think her day job is working 900 numbers!
Thats funny. A lady I work with was saying the same thing and she used to work with her at Gentek and said she got fired for her friendliness. Word travels fast in small towns.
AT LEAST SHE DONT WORK IN FOOD PREP. NO ONE WOULD WANT TO EAT THE FOOD IF THEY THINK SHE TOUCHED IT. YOU ONLY HAVE TO DRINK FROM A GLASS SHE TOUCHED NOT AN ENTIRE MEAL.
she is a waitress too.. with another of her sisters. we asked about it last time we were there and a waitress told us ...must be related to the owners as the only reason she can act like that. or friendly with the owners...hahahaha.
Maybe they are gonna start doin bachelor parties and r using her to as a test concept as entertainment?
I think someone else must be running it now since it was rebuilt. I was there in the past when Mr and Mrs Fiorelli and their son ran the place and i wanted to have my wedding there. Since they reopened, i got engaged and when i called over there it didnt seem like the person knew anything and kept writing down my questions and even put me on hold as she was more concerned with her cell phone ringing. She never even returned my call with the answers to anything I asked which makes me think someone else is managing it now??? Does anyone know if it is still owned by the Fiorelli's?
Yes, the Fiorelli family still owns and runs the place. It is the daughter that is running the place. I would suggest asking for the owner (i dont remember her name. Otherwise you are just getting a dummy that they probably have to answer the phones and do their mindless work that knows nothing about the real aspects of the business. I have been there since they reopened and the food and place were great and better than before. I would highly recommend the place to anyone over any place in the wilkes barre or scranton areas.
I have to agree.Ive been there since they did the place over and it was fantastic.i used to work at their competition until recently and we got alot of calls in the past months saying the same thing about initial calls to the place.my friend is planning a wedding there for this july 4 and has no problems dealing with Chris,but my sisinlaw couldnt even get info on having a grad party there as the woman kept trying to set up appts to come in and not answer basic questions cuz she prob couldnt.The only thing i know is i never heard a complaint about the food or place as a reason people dont have their parties there.
Hi Mishellb I am confused. I am planning my wedding there July 4th and have rented out the entire place. I have had no issues with chris or any of the other staff members. It has been amazing and I am looking forward to the day! Do I know you or did you get the date confused. I am the only wedding there on July 4th :) Anyone thinking of booking a wedding there should not hesitate. I will give more info once July 4th comes but as of now it has been amazing!
What ever happened to the son that managed the place before? He was actually fantastic to deal with and made sure everything we wanted was perfect. if he is still involved, he is the one to go through- very highly recommended
i saw these posts as i am looking at places in the midvalley for my reception. i have to comment about these people and the july 4th wedding. who in the world would have a wedding on that day. im sure neither of u heard any complaints from people u invited but i can almost guarantee that half of them would prefer being anywhere else but at a wedding that day. people go away that week and want to be outside, not dressed up and inside. i even feel bad for the people that are stuck working at it. im sure they are thrilled to be working that day inside. id be afraid that everyone would rush things and leave early on what is supposed to be a special day.

We had invitees who couldn't attend, but no more than at any other wedding. The people who did attend were treated to an amazing affair run by Christene Fiorelli and her staff. All of the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and my wife and I have been deluged with raves about Heather's wedding. We have hosted many affairs in N.E. Pa and none has come close to what we received for our money at Fiorell's. The facility, the food and the staff were all top notch. If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to have Christene and her staff run your party, don't hesitate to do it.
