User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsPushy Staff: The food itself was excellent, we had breakfast. We'd never been to a Bob Evans and we found the decor nice, the prices right and the atmosphere great. It's a nice place for kids too, our toddler colored until our food was served. We did not however enjoy our waitress bothering us every 3 bites of food, trying to push more drinks on us. She brought the check out before she brought our food out, which we found ridiculous. We will try the restaurant again, in hopes of not getting the same waitress.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe Worst of Bob Evans: We had always liked to eat at Bob Evans while traveling, and we were delighted when one came to town, but the honeymoon was quickly over the first visit.
Perhaps we made a mistake by going there when the location first opened, before managment had gotten up to speed, but that still doesn't forgive the potato that was rotten inside and they can't say that they didn't know, the potato was sliced open before it was served.
My friend ordered an item that bore no resemblance to what was stated on the menu. Well, perhaps they mixed up the orders, but the waiter said that is what they called that type of sandwich.
All right, we'll give them another try a month later. The service had gotten worse, not better, and there wasn't even a game or event at the nearby arena that day.
My last attempt at eating there was March 2005, same story with the bad service. I "stiffed" the waiter (I don't give tips for bad service) and never went back.
