User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAlways good food and owned by a really nice family. The pizza is fantastic and the hoagies are fresh and big. Not a very colorful description but when something is as solid as Parrish's then nothing more needs to be said.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been going to that place for years and I think the pizza is the best in the area. I can tell you I think there may be several people that make the food. I do know when the owners son makes all the food it is great. The sauce is no not at all sour or tart or green like the other comment said. There may be another younger gentleman who makes the pizza and it is not very good at all so maybe that is who made your food. there is a big diffrence between the two so ask who is making the pizza when you call in next time if it is the son your o.k.
I would also say for the cheese staek if you like processed cheap steak you wont find it at parrish deli. maybe the other poster likes steak umms and is used to that kind of processed meat.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI got a cheesesteak there once, and it was awful. The roll was burned (toasted) and the meat was terrible. More like roast beef than what a steak sub should taste like.
I got a pizza there once, and it was awful. The sauce was so sour/tart and plain, I couldn't take it. The cheese was also some type that really doesn't belong on pizza. Don't know what it was.
Funny thing was, I had pizza there once last year or so, and it was a hell of a lot better than what I had more recently. It was horribly overseasoned (to the point that the slice looked green), but better than the last one.
I haven't gotten anything else there. All of my friends seem to love it, though, so I never share my opinion.
