    This is def one of our top 3 favorite restaurants. Food and service are excellent. Their Sheppards Pie is a must try! Extremely clean. Beautiful bar. Great atmosphere. We stop in whenever we're in the area. We recommend this place very highly.

    Booked two rooms for two nights and traveled five hours to get there. One half hour before we arrived the owner called and cancelled our rooms because she wanted to rent them for two weeks not two nights. Said money was more important than customer service. Told us we could stay somewhere else but her alternate place wasn't good enough to keep my dog (over a bar- single bed rooms - no place for a family)Think twice before booking you may be looking elsewhere anyway.

    ate here 1x but planning on thanksgiving dinner here. my wife& i thought the pot roast special & martinis were great! so we are anxious to go again.
    the place is pretty, warm, friendly & charming. the prices are reasonable. we had a great pot roast special & martinis in the bar.
    my only suggestion: perhaps some romaine in the salad instead of only the low nutritional content of iceberg.
    perhaps the best overall restaurant in montrose,PA

    NOTE: as mentioned above we planned T'giving dinner. we were VERY disappointed for the t'giving offering. actually gave us cranberry sauce in a LITTLE plastic cup. poor, poor, poor...
    so i've downgraded my stars.

    [UPDATE: under new management in 3/09, have not tried since it re-opened!]
