I have been boarding my pony here for over three years now and I couldn't be happier with the service and care my horse gets. Buckingham Valley Farm is friendly/open to everyone; to beginners to advance riders, there is a spot for you. There is a large outdoor and smaller indoor ring that is drug with a tracker daily. The out door ring is carefully observed to determine if it is safe to ride (such as flooding). The trainers are so friendly and know what they are doing. They are very knowledgeable and give you great tips on riding( even demonstrate exactly what the riders need to know in order to succeed). All riders can come and ride to Buckingham Valley Farm; if you are a beginner then you will learn the basics, and you will increase the abilities of riding at your pace of knowledge. There, you will learn everything you need to learn about horseback riding. There are many grass paddocks and smaller dirt paddocks that includes a recovery paddock for inured/in recovery horses. The turnout schedule is carefully picked by the different attitudes of the horses; and if any problems with the schedule will be changed automatically to fit the horses behavior. There are three barns; the carriage barn, pony barn, and the main barn with the indoor ring attached to it. The horses and pony get the best care thanks to the staff. They defitiently put the horses before themselves to get the best care. I love Buckingham Valley Farm and I plan to stay there for a long, long time!
This is a very small farm for the amount of horses that they have. The turn out is very bad and the paddocks are very small. The turnout has no grass in the winter and the horses spend a lot of time in their stalls. It is a very costly place for any added needs for a horse whether leasing or buying a horse. They also very rarely use the outdoor ring, so most of the riding is indoors, which is very overcrowded. The outdoor ring is usually flooded. So indoor ring time is at a premium. This is a very serious place, so it is not much fun.The owners are usually to busy to help the lesson people. The lessons are expensive and difficult to get a good lesson time. The private lessons are only a half an your and very expensive.Everything is at a premium.
Buckingham Valley is the best place to ride. It is the best place to learn how to ride and grow up. I have been riding there or 3 years now and i love it. I love BVF!(Buckingham valley farm. I love to ride there and it is just so awesome. The horses there are so nice and professional and they always take care of their riders. The Trainers are awesome and so nice. The Trainers really give you full attention and foucs on you skills and needs. The stable hands are like familly and the horses love us.
