User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsGenerally, they did a good job. Tiles were done well, the plaster was done well, and the field stone coping is great. However, I give them an 'D-' and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Our township required erosion fences and tire washers at the construction site. JMK charged us $1200, separate from the main bills, for this and we paid. JMK POCKETED THE $1200 AND DID NOTHING AND WOULD NOT REFUND THE MONEY. We are currently considering legal action. We also ordered a $6000 cover. Well the cover is fine, but these idiots can't place an expansion bolt in a raised beam to save save their own lives. I had to pull more than half the bolts and re-do them with larger HW. Go with a pool company that actually knows what they are doing in all areas of pool construction.

Poor job on the tiles. I have had the pool for 5 years and for the past 3 seasons tiles have been falling off. It looks like there was hardly any adhesive applied. When I called JMK, the only response I got was that it was nothing they would have done, although when I spoke to another repair company, they said it looked to them that there wasn't enough adhesive applied to the tiles. I also asked JMK to give me an estimate to repair over 150 tiles that fell off this past season; they never returned my calls. Poor communication. There was also poor communication when the pool was installed, but other than the problem with the tiles, I am happy with the rest of the pool. I don't think I'd recommend this company though.

Dug the hole, then little service all, other work sub'd out. Poor communication about schedules, left material in the heater (caught before a fire, but manuals burnt), sold us an older model automatic cleaner, multiple small problems from leaks to electric that should have been avoided, and did not return phone calls. Oh, and caulking not included.
