We had a good family dinner at Perkins last Saturday night after Mass. Everything was good: buffalo chicken wraps, salad, coffee, service, smoke-free weekend.
Update: My wife and I stopped in for lunch on 1/12/08. We had a good meal. I had the cheeseburger and Southwest Tortilla soup and my wife had the BLT chicken salad and the soup. -

Something Always Good at Perks: Perkings is a great family restaurant. I love the food and the value. You can eat well or with others. THey are always willing to try something different. Breakfast is still one of my favorites there and you can get breakfast anytime of the day or night. I recently tried one of their new french toast entres ( they created 4 over the standard one). I had the one with the fresh blueberries and strawberries with strawberry cream cheese on the side. It was delicious! Of course if you are in the mood for lunch or dinner try the chicken ceaser salad. They have lots of carb friendly items....and the best muffins in all Philly which they bake fresh on the premises. If you are not ready to receive muffin let someone else go to the counter and pay the bill. But if you have earned or just want a muffin-try the apple or blueberry. You are not going to want to share so go ahead and get the 1/2 dozen. I have eaten at Perkins for over 10 years. I have never had a bad meal and only bad service once which management immediately took care of. If you go you will enjoy. Amen!
