I totally agree. I've been here for 10 years and it makes me sick to know my taxes are as much as a decent car payment. I'm 48 years old and drive a 95 ford. I can't wait to get out and I tell everyone I know looking for a house to buy in falls. I was on prudential tonight and saw the difference in taxes and the difference in home costs and it makes me sick. can't wait to leave this town. WHY?
I can see pennsbury parking lot from my house. I want to know why a house 8 doors down from mine is worth more money and the taxes are 2000 dollars less. WHY? because it's falls.I'm living on marsh land. These house were built when I was in high school and it was marsh land. The houses are so close together the sun can't reach them. They have mold growing on them. I urge anyone buying a house, spend the extra $$ and buy anywhere but bristol, the taxes will kill you!! remember this - 6000.00 a year is 500.00 a month. 3500.00 a year is 300.00 a month. that is a great savings - think about it! Would you rather spend that on your mortgage or your taxes? da! Your mortgage ends, your taxes don't!BUY in FALLS!
