Bucks County's theatrical gem is not it New Hope, it's in Bristol, presenting a wide range of top-quality professional (Actors Equity) plays for over twenty years. Production quality is always top-notch, and the range of offerings extends from small musicals ("Dear World"; "She Loves Me") to classics (Shakespeare; Ibsen; Miller) and of course, comedies. Nobody does comedies better than Bristol !
Most seasons include a regional or world premiere, along with standards of the American stage and occasional European imports.
The location is convenient (and safe), parking is plentiful, several good restaurants in the vicinity and the Bristol Riverside is a wonderfully comfortable theater in every respect.

Exciting theater: They have the best shows I have seen in the entire area. We are transplants from NYC and were used to going to theater almost every weekend, so I guess you could say we are experts. We have explored all of Philadelphia and most of New Jersey and we give this theater a five star YES. It is as good as any we have ever seen.
