Beware of this place. I got married in July and had two very big issues with Betty's. First one was my maid of honor is six feet tall and needed a dress in extra long. We picked a dress and all the brides maids and my maid of honor got fitted and ordered the dresses. We were told the dress came in extra long. When the dresses came in 8 weeks later, my maid of honors' dress was the same length as all the others. We called first thing and we were told that they left a message for my maid of honor, which she did not get and proceeded to order the dresses anyway without a conformation from her or me the bride. We were told that the manufacturer makes the dress long enough to accommodate tall women. We had to order her a different dress, which landed up to be ok. They did not charge me for the dress - One good thing. The second issue was I ordered a dress for my 15 year old daughter which was different from the other girls. When the dress came in after the last issue, I checked the dress as soon as I got in my car. I ordered a size 4 and when I looked at the tag it said 2. I called them from the car and they played it off and said the tag must have been wrong it was a size 4. So I unzipped the dress and looked at the manufactures tag - guess what a size 2. When I called back yet again, they said I had to call back and talk to Betty. It was 4 weeks before my wedding and these women were not being any help. I was told by Betty they ordered the right size but they were sent the wrong size. They knew it when I picked up the dress. I got the dresses in time and it all worked out in the end - my girls looked beautiful but I would never recommend Betty's to ANYONE!!!!!

I went to Betty's bridal on 2/14/09 to have a dress made for my sons wedding. I no nothing about dresses. I am a tee shirt and jeans(size 10) The women said no problem she would help me. I was measured and the dress would be ordered. I picked the dress up when it came in 6/13/09. When I got the dress home it was size 16wide. The thing was huge on me. They wouldn't take the dress back because I signed tne contract. I wasn't aware that she was ordering size 16wide for me. I trusted that she was taking care of the dress for mewhich is why I went there in the first place. They will do alterations at my cost. When it was their mistake. They will give me no help at all.I am devastated. The wedding is August 1st and they just don't care but that's okay because the better bisiness bureau has been notified.

I went there last night (the one in Clifton Heights) because I'm in a wedding in May and just found out I'm pregnant (I'm 25 and married). When I said that I figured I'd lose my deposit on the original dress I was told "that dress is yours, you have to pay the rest, we don't cover ACCIDENTS!" My baby is a blessing, not an accident. I didn't even push, the bride was there and I didn't want a scene, so I walked over to the dresses and said I couldn't order one until I could try one on somewhere that had a baby cushion (most stores do to see how you'll look in it when you're larger). A woman with blond hair must have heard because she shouted accross the store "Hey, WE didn't get you pregnant!" I can't believe anyone would treat a person that way!
