About:A favorite among Villanova University students, Brownie's is usually bereft of elbow room. Live music is performed on the first floor, where the immense bar dispenses spirits to the young crowd. If the downstairs gets too crowded, bar-hoppers can try their luck at the upstairs balcony where the beer-fueled chaos below can be observed. There are inexpensive appetizers and a full range of spirits and beer.

    One of my favorite places to party: There is always a great crowd at Brownies even on the weekdays. The drinks are cheap, the staff is friendly (and very attractive), and the bands are the best around. Plus I can always get to the bar regardless of how packed the place is. I'd rather be at Brownies with all of my friends paying $1 for drinks & listening to good music than be elbow to elbow with someone trying to pay $15 for a captain & coke listening to some raver music somewhere in the city.
