I live right down the street from the restaurant. I have been going there since I was little and have known the various names associated with the restaurant. I think they have excellent food with sizable portions. Most of the time I don't finish the food. The food has been getting a little bit pricier in the last year or so, which I blame the economy. I love their turkey sandwiches. The turkey is fresh and it is always a huge helping. I love going there and enjoy the atmosphere. I recommend to everyone. Only one comment. It says private rooms in the overview. I'm not sure what they mean. There is a separate eating area for parties which can be reserved. In all the 21 years I have been going there, I've never seen a separate room. Otherwise.. the overview is a great description of the place.
I was seeking deli as I knew it growing up in NYC, and as a NJ state attorney in Trenton, there is none around on this side of Delaware. Had lunch here at M and I based on these reviews. A few things. M and I have separate charges if you ask for an extra piece of rye bread. Cole slaw does not come standard with a sandwich. Items that I expect to be included are charged separately. Further I ordered corn beef, tongue, and swiss cheese club sandwich for $10.95. corn beef was dry ( a no no) and portions were really skimpy---very little cole slaw on the sandwich. Even the offered half sours were too briny. tongue was good though portions were like for a half sandwich. If this is the best Penna suburbs have for true jewish delicatessen, they are being shortchanged with really high prices like they know it's the only game in town.

Yea well I went to NYC looking for scrapple and they looked at me like I had 2 heads. Maybe you should just go home. Probably a Mets fan, Ouch.
