The work was scheduled and completed within a week. They also killed off some poison ivy on a few of the trees. I have a new tree view that looks neat and provides a view to another pretty tree

They did a great job. They were quick and cleaned up after themselves. We originally hired them to take out 2 dead/dying trees. After they got here and started working, we added on a few other jobs (we recently bought the house and it was very overgrown). In total they took out 3 trees that were in poor health and 3 small evergreens that were not attractive (we will be replacing with something a little more asthetically pleasing). They also chipped a bunch of branches that we had pruned ourselves. They were done in about an hour to an hour and a half, and they were very reasonably priced.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsstrange concept of customer service: I recently called Scotts tree service for trimming work estimate. I have used them in the past , they have their buisness in the community where we live. Placed a couple of calls, then one day without prior notice someone walks up to my house and introduce's himself as an estimator with Scott's. Seemed like a nice enough fellow, talked to him for 1/2 hour even though I was busy with lawn work. He promised to send an estimate to me within a couple of days. Two weeks went by, no estimate, called Scotts two more time over the next two weeks, never returned my call. Never received an estimate. Unusual customer service approach especially given the fact that I am local. My advice is to seek out professional tree companies that know how to provide customer service.Scott's Tree Service is not one of them
