I have to say, if you take a good look at Bootleggers, you can see how at one point in time it may have been a really cool place to hang out due to the space and layout.

Unfortunately, (not to sound too eloquent) the place is a filthy mold trap.

Don't even think about ordering a draft beer... I've seen them pull a Natty Light keg off of a Miller Lite tab. But hey, times are tough, right?

Not to mention, "hosting the best cover bands in the Philadelphia area"?
That's the equivalent of saying we have the best dirty bathrooms in the Philadelphia area!

I have to give Heather Mae in the back room a lot of credit for making a great attempt to revive original music in the club and the area in general. But, they need some good original acts, not a bunch of screaming noise without a shred of musical talent.

If you enjoy cover bands, this is the place for you. You can walk right in, get hammered, and dance with a bunch of people who enjoy listening to the same songs over and over just like you!

Please! Don't encourage the horrible cover band scene that Bootleggers thinks is still popular. Cover bands, try to learn come up with a set list that doesn't involve Laid, What I Got, Your Love, Don't Stop Believin, American Girl, Sweet Child, etc. (anyone who's made it this far in the review can list plenty more overplayed hits that are being beaten down even further by that pathetic scene)

Delaware County, please grow up, and don't waste your money on this wanna-be "club."

    The Good:

    (1) Big place - 4 bars & outside patio
    (2) Good service - bartenders were fast & efficient
    (3) Reasonable prices - Drink prices reasonable $2.50 bottles

    So-So:

    (1) Cover Charge - $6 on a Saturday Night. About average in
Philadelphia, but unexpected in the quiet suburbs

    Bad:

This place was filthy! It may be a bar/nightclub, but there that is no excuse! The bar areas were a disgrace! half-ince of water (or something wet) behind the bars. Bartop never wiped or cleaned. Ashes all over the bar. The bathrooms were filthy! It was so bad that your shoes stuck to the floor! No doors on the bathroom toilets!

Won't be going back. I go to alot of clubs, none of them are as filthy as this place was! It's simple neglect!

Good Time!: You can play pool here, drink $2.00 whatever you wants, dance-dance-dance and hang with friends. They have good bands that play great music and lots of areas to bum around in. No food unfortunately... If you know someone who is having a party there, you get to skip the cover charge too! NICE!
