Today Power Windows and Siding finished installing all 18 of our windows and they did such a beautiful job. They were professional, clean, organized, meticulous, and abounded with experience. We commend them for a job very well done. These days, We find it very difficult to find a company with employees who work with the public who doesn't complain about something personal or job-related. But our installers Andrew and Harry went about their job with professional expertise, good humor, and complete focus on the job at hand. We will be recommending your company and them to family and friends.
Just purchased 23 Windows from PWS. The entire sale took 6 hours. It was certainly thorough, a little too thorough for me. I almost ask the guy to just give me the price or get out. It was almost like they tell their sales people to try to stay as long as they can. They were very much into getting us to sign at the moment, but their initial price was about 3,000 more than my other estimates, a point that I pointed out to them. I then told them we would have to think about it, to which they offered us the windows for 3,200 dollars less (in exchange we agreed to let them send out mailings to homes near us to advertise the work they were going to do and when they were going to do it, as well as posting a lawn sign for 4 weeks; no big deal to us). We signed with them and I will try to post an update after they have completed the work. All you who are praying folk, send a few up for us!
WORD TO THE WISE: Don't let PWS sales people be the first to give you an estimate, and block off a huge chunk of your day, or be direct with them that you only have (fill in the blank) hours to give them. Get two of three estimates for similar products (call and ask what they sell beforehand and do some comparative shopping) before you invite PWS into your home. You will be able to negotiate from a place of being in control, knowing that they want to walk out of your home with a sale!
We had a 5 hour presentation because he kept arguing with us about how stupid it was not to take the "awesome" deal he was presenting if we would just sign that night. He couldn't understand how we could turn him down! He was supposedly giving us a great marketing discount that he couldn't give most people because we live on a main road. I've read that numerous people on the the complaint boards were offered the same marketing discount. He claimed he had never had anyone say "no" to him. He was almost in tears but we had to kick him out. We didn't eat dinner until 11 at night! Absolute horrible experience! Save your time cause he wasted 5 hours of our time we'll never get back!

Did you buy the windows, or is your one star rating based solely on the sales pitch experience? We just sat through a similar pitch, and it was tedious, but your review doesn't actually help anyone decide whether or not the windows and service are any good.
