MT Lawn Cemetery-Lincoln

THIS CEMETARY IS THE WORST!!!!! The grounds are NOT KEPT UP AND THERE ARE DUCK DROPPINGS ALL OVER THE GROUNDS! YOU REALLY HAVE TO WATCH WHERE YOU ARE WALKING! MY MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER AND UNCLE ARE BURIED THERE AND WHEN WE VISIT THEM WE ALWAYS HAVE TO CLEAR OFF THEIR TOMB STONES OR PLUCK SUM WEEDS THAT HAVE GROWN TOO HIGH -- THIS SHOULD NOT BE!!!!! SINCE THEY ARE NOT GOING TO DO IT, WE MUST!IF IT WERE NOT FOR MY MOTHER GETTING A TWO BODY GRAVE, WE WOULD NOT HAVE BURIED MY MOTHER THERE! I WOULD NOT SUGGEST ANYONE BURIED THEIR LOVE ONE THERE!!

This is the worst cemetery I have ever seen!!!!: My husband's mother, father, brother and grandmother are burried there. My husband is in the U.S.Navy and has been away from home for many years. We have recently been stationed outside of Philadelphia and I wanted to take him to visit thier graves on Father's Day. I was horrified and felt awful for letting him see the cemetery. There were holes so deep that I was suprised a vault was not exposed. Markers have been sinking for so long that you could only see 1 square inch of the marker. I have never seen anything so terrible. I know I will be standing on some one's desk Monday morning. This is disrespectful and tragic for families to witness. I would not recommend anyone letting thier loved ones choose this for a resting place. We saw where they had just burried some one's family member and they left the extra soil tossed in a pile to the side. I did not see the story on the news about Mt. Lawn, but there is no way it could have been good. They need to get thier act together and do something about this... NOW!!!! Words can not explain how unkept Mt. Lawn is.

Visit this place b4 you place a loved one there!!: This is an extremely unkempt cemetary. They have no respect for the deceased. In the summer you can barely find markers because the grass and weeds are always uncut. There is no fence around the place and the cars whiz by like it is a racetrack. There recently was an accident where the car jumped the curb and tore up a tree by it's roots. Have they filled in the hole? No! It's just a big ugly hole now that people seem to want to use to throw trash in. I or someone in my family tries to get there at least once a week to visit my loved one so we can make sure her area is clean. If we didn't do that, god only knows what it would look like. A few months back there was an expose done on them by Fox News. Let's just say it wasn't good!
