I started getting haircuts at Troncelliti Barber Shop back around 1965 and did so for over ten years. It was the best place near my home in those days. John's uncle Dom, Nick, Lou and Karl all gave me great haircuts at one time or another. My father and brothers also went. It was always a wonderful friendly experience. John and I went to Ardmore Junior High School. What a great guy!
A great shop. John's the boss and he's good with the professional barbers and customers. He knows his clients and so do the barbers. The barbers are consumate professionals and do their best to get it right the first time. They are understated meaning you are the one being served. I get a #1.5.
When there are children present like sometimes on Saturdays, they seem to know to behave and the parents know to keep on top of them. In that environment, it's fun to watch "first haircuts," and just little kids in general getting their haircuts. This barbershop is an American business where you can be proud of American business. It's modern Americana!
Very nice place and family atmosphere. John, the owner is also very nice in person. However the haircut was just terrible. I don't remember the guy's name but he did a very bad job. Bad experience :(
