Dr. Rufus and Bob run a very tight ship. The office is spotless, they are meticulous and best of all, Dr. Rufus is one of the few vets who genuinely still loves animals, especially cats. He has done a great job with my 7 cats and has good judgment about when it makes sense to run tests and not, when it makes sense to see a specialist and not and his kindness shows through to the animals. Absolutely the best vet in Delaware County.

Dr. Rufus and his asistant Bob are kind and wonderful people who have a special gift. They are able to make my dog feel comfortable during her exams. They hold her and talk to her in a way that I have never seen before and she responds beautifully. We've used other vets and our dog has had extreme anxiety from beginning to end. When your dog is upset, it's hard to pay close attention to what the doctor is saying and in turn you miss a lot of information. Not here. I recommend them highly for this reason,their personal service, and their professionalism.

Dr. Rufus has taken care of my pets since 1986. Both Dr. Rufus and his assistant Bob are wonderful people who genuinely care about all the animals they treat. We can not say enough nice things about Colonial Animal Hospital. Highly recommended.
