I am a musician and I use computers to record and produce my work, so a properly operating system is a necessity. I have a total of 6 machines - 4 PCs and 2 Macs. I bought 2 of the PCs from NSO Computers (custom built) and I had the other 2 upgraded and serviced there. They have serviced both of my Macs as well.

Bofore dealing with them I tried a number of local PC shops but their services were lackluster at best. Most places have guys working there who have just a surface knowledge of computers and can come off as knowledgeable when talking to a layman, but can't figure out a problem once it's outside their scope.

The guys (and girls) at NSO are not like that. The people with whom I have dealt (Karen, Eric, Max and Bob) really know their stuff. And if they don't, they figure it out! I had them come out to my home for a service call. The tech (Bob) was stumped on one issue. He looked it up online and figured it out in minutes!

The 2 PCs that they built for me are great. One is a basic computer that is used for web browsing and the other one is a beast that I use for major tasks. I priced out with a couple of other shops and with Alienware and Velocity Micro online and while NSO's price wasn''t the lowest, they explained the system's configuration the best.

Bottom line is this: This is by far the best PC service place in the area. I have recommended them to friends and they also had great experiences.
