My Daughter's B-Day Party at Build-A-Bear: I was extremely pleased with my daughter's birthday party that Build-A-Bear Workshop, located at the Springfield Mall in PA, hosted. First of all, some of my party guests didn't arrive by the party's start time. The staff at Build-A-Bear voluntarily held the party off for an addt'l 20 min. The party was on a Sat. and it was a very hectic time in the mall but the staff remained very cool, calm, and collected. The hosts made each child feel very special and treated them as though they were their friends. They made me want to make a bear myself and join in on the fun. Everyone played games, the staff made sure each child had a turn to participate, and it was very well-organized and executed. I was particularly impressed when it was time for the children to dress and accessorize the bears. Beforehand, the staff knew how much money I was paying for each bear and how much I was spending on the outfits and the accessories. When one little boy wanted an outfit that was out of my price range, they tactfully took me to the side and explained why the outfit wasn't amongst the others. I decided to get it anyway because they handled the matter so professionally an no one had to feel a little embarassed by it. I could not believe how much creativity was displayed at the party. My guests' ages ranged from 10 months to 34 yrs. Everyone had a nice time. It lasted for about 1hr. and a half and the time went by so quickly. They had another party to follow immediately after ours and they did what was necessary to move us along and nobody felt rushed. Immediately after it ended I wanted to have another party the following week just for the heck of it.
Had I known how much fun that party was going to be, I would've had it much sooner. Thanks staff at Build-A-Bear for such a memorable party!

Absolute fun: Build-a-bear is a great place for that special occasion... when money doesnt matter...it can be a little pricey with completed bear starting at around 40 dollars... the concept is good... kids get to go in pick a stufed animal... and follow the steps around the store to have it stuff, fluffed,dressed and get its adoption papers... worth the money for a bear the kids make them selves.... something they will truely cherish
