Have been waiting a week so excited for my wedding consultation...recently moved to Delaware and work out of PA too so I made sure to leave work on time to make it to my appointment with Jim to pick my flowers for the big day only to arrive 15 prior to appointment time and the door was locked and lights were off. (Which was 15 minutes before the store was supposed to close too--not really sure why they post store hours if they don't stick to them) We waited 30 minutes hoping they were just running late, outside, with my parents, my groom, and my future in-laws all to just be extremely disappointed and have to return home (in rush hour) in hunt for a new florist to help make our big day beautiful.
If they cannot even be reliable for an appointment, I am not about to hope they can become reliable on my wedding day =(
We have had two friends use them with no problems, but I wouldn't suggest taking the risk after my experience or reading other disappointed reviews!
I used Ring of Roses to get flowers for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. They had an advertisement for a deal of 1 dozen roses taped to the window of the shop. I placed the order in person and asked for the dozen roses and 1 additional white rose. They called the day before to inform me that red roses were not included in the deal and to choose a color, not a big deal. When I went to pick up the flowers they didn't ring up an amount on the register just swiped my credit card. After I signed the reciept, I saw that the amount was more than DOUBLE what I had been quoted. The arrangement did look good and my girlfriend liked them BUT THEY COMPLETELY DIED WITHIN 3 DAYS. Never going back to this place and I reccomend you look elsewhere.
They brought the flowers to the wrong church! Do I even have to say more? When a member of the bridal party contacted the florist on our way to the ceremony, they were very smug, and treated us like we were complete idiots who didn't know where to look. The groomsmen had no flowers until we were getting our pictures done. The readers, parents, etc. did not have their flowers either - and the altar pieces obviously were missing too. The woman who finally brought everything simply recommended that we bring them to the reception hall to 'brighten the place up'. Well, we wanted to brighten the church and bridal party up for the ceremony and for the pictures. Completly ridiculous. The bridal party flowers, as well as the bridal bouquet were beautiful, yes - bet seriously, how do you deliver flowers to the wrong church? Come on!!
