Windows Plus did a fantastic job on my windows so naturally when I needed a roof I went to them. I was given an estimate by a sub-contractor. I wrote a check and had a contract. I was then called and told that Ed said the estimate was too low and they would have to re-evaluate. I decided that anyone can make a mistake and the man was so nice that I decided not to hold them to their contract. After many phone calls and weeks, Ed finally came over and looked at the roof. It took another 4 days to get an estimate. I explained that he gave me an estimate on work I didn't want done. He said he would get back to me and never did. After many phone calls I did finally get my check returned to me. I went with another area roofer and I was quite happy. Very disappointed.

I did extensive research on windows. Pella, Martin, Anderson, Power Windows, & Starmark. Starmark was the best value and provides a decent ROI. Windows in NE PA add between $8,800 to $10,200 to the value of a home, so I wanted to keep my full window replacements around this range. We were pleased with the Starmark windows installed from Windows Plus. The Cellular framing is made by Royal Laboratories and has a solid warranty. The slight risk is that Starmark (OKNA is the parent) has only been around for 15 yrs. All building supply companies made a fortune with the housing boom. Now I hope OKNA can stay in business during the slowdown. Window installers were older guys, experienced. A little mess was left behind, though I expected this, the windows did have some residue and left over tape on them that took me a lot of time to clean. Overall it was a solid experience and we are happy with the windows. I will updated this review next year after our first winter with them in.

Fantastic Job! Ed and his crew put a new roof on my 22 yr old home. Best estimate we received (substantially less than the big chain store "HD"). Certified for the roofing system we were looking for and the best price to boot. They put the roof on in Dec. and got it in quickly (2 actual working days over a 1 week period) despite bouts of snow and rain. Kept the house water tight the entire time. Topnotch workmanship. Cleanup was perfect. Not a nail or scrap anywhere. No damage to plantings or my attached glass sunroom. Very responsive, always available for questions, prompt and punctual. You can feel comfortable doing business with Windows Plus.
