Company Information: Neon beer signs, car parts, narrow booths and outrageous drinking decorate this watering hole. A large jazz selection on the jukebox. What this joint lacks in sophistication and decor its crowd more than makes up for in unpretentious, zealous exuberance about having a good time. College students and those who drink for sport tend to patronize this popular dive. You can always count on cheap drinks and plenty of people to sink them down with at Dirty Frank's. Cash only!
Hours of Operation: Daily 11am-2am

I hate bars but I love Dirty Frank's. We have gone for years and years. Diverse group, all ages and walks of life. If anyone mouths off, they are out quick. Never had a bad time.
Ahhh, you young patrons of Dirty Franks....little do you know that the writer was one of those who decided on the then unofficial name....Dirty Franks.
I was GI student at Phila. Museum Scoool of Art and lived diaganolly across from Franks' bar. He (Abe or brother Frank would pull the shades and we would drink till 0400 or 0500 til one night Captain Rizzo raided the place and we all spent the night at the 12th and Pine Police Station drunk tank.
Happy to see you all enjoying a gentrified Dirty Franks. Here's to Joyce who danced atop the bar, (Pine street wing) and left this world from cirrohis while we visited her in Pennsylvania hospital so many years ago.

If it's Franks...Thanks!!!: Seedy atmosphere, obnoxious hipsters, and a super fine looking bartender named Jody.
